Camp Wabikon is an International, co-ed, overnight summer camp for youth ages 6-17. In the Temagami community and Canadian Camping, Wabikon has been respected as one of Ontario’s leading summer camp opportunities for youth since 1944. Every year campers from around the world travel to Temagami to enjoy their summers in this unique and beautiful part of Ontario. Accredited by both the national and provincial camping associations, Wabikon families are assured of their children’s security and comfort in a fun, professional, caring, and well-managed environment.

Wabun was established by eight educators in 1933. Four generations have now traveled the lakes and rivers of the Temagami region and nearby Quebec in Wabun red canoes. The traditions of the past linger in the techniques of today with wood/canvas canoes, wannigan boxes, canvas duffel bags and leather tumplines still important ingredients in the Wabun experience.

Keewaydin Temagami camp provides single gender wilderness canoe trips for boys and girls ages 10 to 18. Keewaydin remains true to the vision of our founder, A.S. Greg Clarke “The Commodore”, who wanted to start a camp that focused on canoe trips.
Traveling in the pristine wilderness of Ontario and Quebec, kids become part of a team, each member essential to the group’s success. These fun, empowering and safe excursions build outdoor skills while fostering strength, leadership, self-reliance and confidence.
