Camp Wabikon is an International, co-ed, residential summer camp for youth ages 6-17. In the Temagami community and Canadian Camping, Wabikon has been respected as one of Ontario’s leading summer camp opportunities for youth since 1944. Every year campers from around the world travel to Temagami to enjoy their summers in this unique and beautiful part of Ontario. Accredited by both the national and provincial camping associations, Wabikon families are assured of their children’s security and comfort in a fun, professional, caring, and well-managed environment.
Keewaydin Temagami camp provides single gender wilderness canoe trips for boys and girls ages 10 to 18. Keewaydin remains true to the vision of our founder, A.S. Greg Clarke “The Commodore”, who wanted to start a camp that focused on canoe trips.
Traveling in the pristine wilderness of Ontario and Quebec, kids become part of a team, each member essential to the group’s success. These fun, empowering and safe excursions build outdoor skills while fostering strength, leadership, self-reliance and confidence.
The Wanapitei experience promotes self-reliance, cooperation and personal growth, through community living, team work and challenging canoe trips in Canada’s north. Our highly skilled staff has introduced children and young people from around the world to adventures in beautiful and majestic northern landscapes. An experience with Wanapitei is truly an investment in life and we invite you and your family to be a part of our community.
